Sparked by a Facebook status posted by our dear friend Bushie wherein he gushed about the quality of his Denny's dinner. I know he doesn't like his Facebook info reproduced here, but this one is both funny and harmless.

Only if my flamboyant gay waiter/waitress has just asked me how my meal was.

For the vast majority of the world, the answer would be "yes", so I guess it all depends on your perspective.

I have low-class food preferences and definitely am not a connoisseur.  I'd personally rather go to Denny's or Applebees than Capital Grille.  The extreme formality and huge costs of such places make them undesirable.

Denny's tastes good, but their gauche mannerisms and the homophobia of much of their clientele does grind my gears.

No. I once described a very nice pasta as "gorgeous" at a restaurant and immediately felt like an idiot. Denny's isn't fabulous, it's.. decadent?

It's a breakfast place, right? Bacon, eggs, sausage, waffles. I like those things, but they are too mundane to be fabulous. Iwould say they are tasty.

Even J-Mann is starting Update threads now?  Bushie has lost all control of the narrative.

I've been to Denny's twice in the past couple months, and I thought the food was pretty darn good both times.  Maybe not "fabulous," but definitely the kind that would make me want to go there again.

Anyone who says "darn" unironically should be put in the camps (normal).

Option 2, but I have literally never used the term "fabulous" in my life.

Only because my first dinner-date with my girlfriend was there.  (I wasn't even aware it was going to turn out to be a dinner date, I thought I was going there to cheer up a friend from church.)

There's a new Denny's that opened right near the building where I'll be living starting this fall. I'm looking forward to going there at three in the morning.

It's extremely unlikely considering:

1) I refuse to use the word fabulous, as I think that would be submitting to suffocating and overused stereotypes about my people. Besides divine is the new fabulous.

2) I don't even know what Denny's is, which probably means it's not an established food chain in Sweden. Which in conclusion means it's unlikely that I will ever have the experience of enjoying a meal from said place, let alone the privileged of a fabulous meal.
