Not quite as economically liberal, but similar all the same.  Is there a viable US third party that reflects such views (ie: I don't view Communists as viable).

Kentucky Democratic Party ;-)

Haha!  Actually, Kansas Democratic Party probably fits just as well.
Sadly, neither party in NM really fits the econ left and social right (although moderately so on both accounts) positions I hold...so an Independent I remain... Sad

It just looks better, really.

You could make your own avatar with Paint or some such, and put it in your signature. Just take that avatar, and change the R to D.

There is the added bonus that it does not allow people to judge what I am saying based on my avatar. Sure, it is not the optimum idea, but at least it makes people consider what I am saying before rubber-stamping it as good or bad based on my avatar.

Not that I say anything of consequence.

Is it possible that I am the most right wing member of the forum?

A question for the more experienced: does the mock government have a party called "The Neo-Conservative party?"

Ironic that you whine about Puritannical madness when in fact new England especially Massachusetts was founded by the Puritans and the Puritan attitude of intolerance still remains up there.

You could always create one. But either the Atlas Republicans. or more likely considering that your a Southerner, the Southern Republican/States Rights Party would be a very good fit for you.

You aren't the most conservative. You'd fit well into the State's Rights Party, as previously said.
