I appreciate the sentiment and I would consider it, but I'd like to become a Senator in August and that's not what Talleyrand is looking for.

One Two of the potential candidates I have contacted for the CJO position have outright declined, while another has stated he is reluctant to take it. I have just reached out to one more person. I encourage anyone who is interested to step up and contact me so I will have more choices to choose from.

In addition, I have introduced a preliminary budget for July-October (aka the last budget) so we can get some debate going and find all the legislation that we need to factor in before asking for a G.M. estimate.

The Assembly has been fairly slow, and I hope it's just people busy with vacation (as two Representatives are currently out for that reason) so we can get back to normal soon.

Barnes has served in a myriad of offices during his time in Atlasia, but never as C.J.O. During our discussions, he has demonstrated his interest in and commitment to this position. I am confident he will serve solidly if he is confirmed by the Assembly.

Dr. Cynic has served honorably as a Representative on and off during the past year, and only narrowly lost reelection last time. I am certain he will do well in the interim period, and represent the views of the Representative he will replace, Mr. X.

I thank you very much, Governor.  I have been absent from Atlasia for some time, but I am very happy to be back in my home region of the Northeast and to be of service to the region.  Talleyrand is right, I've held many positions both regionally and nationally, and I believe that I am quite capable of handling the responsibilities.

I look forward to appearing before the Assembly.

I am officially back from my leave of absence, and would like to thank the Assembly (especially Speaker SWE) and Napoleon for acting as Governor in my place.

A referendum on the Northeast Cabinet Repeal amendment will be held next week.

I will announce a new Lieutenant Governor and an interim Representative once Napoleon swears in officially as Game Moderator. In the meantime, I encourage all Northeast citizens to vote in the ongoing election.

SirNick has served this region well as Governor and Representative for the past two years, and has generously offered to serve in the latter position again for the interim period.

I encourage citizens to participate in the debate over the July-October budget resolution which has just been introduced, and contribute ideas as to how we can best utilize a portion of the $5 billion in spending to combat homelessness apportioned by the federal government.

I am pleased to welcome back Dr. Cynic to the Assembly and to have him serve as Lt. Governor, a position I have no doubt he'll do well in. I also hope that JoMCaR, who ran a good campaign, will run again at some point in time for the position of Representative.

Due to the vacancy created by BaconBacon96's expulsion from the Assembly, I am happy to appoint former Vice President Matt to his seat.

Looks like I'm really getting my money's worth when it comes to running elections. Smiley

The special election to fill this seat will be held this coming weekend.

I am pleased to sign this bill. The draconian ban on incestuous marriages (which under the previous clause, also somehow extended to distant relatives) was a disgrace in our region, which is well known for its civil liberties.

In addition, I am still searching for a News Agency Head. Several individuals have politely turned me down, but I am confident we will get an appointee by the end of the month. If anyone is interested in the position, please contact me.

I am very pleased to sign this clarification to our previously vague homelessness program. Once we get a cost estimate on it from the SoIA, we will be able to continue work on our regional budget and apply for a federal grant.

If anyone needs any further proof how much this fantasy simulation has gotten carried away with whacko ideas and legislation, one need look no further than this abomination.

Why on earth pollute the good legislation and ideas presented on this board with this insanity?

If this travesty you call the Same Love Act doesn't show how much this board is controlled by pimply faced, immature nerds who have no idea whatever what a relationship is all about, or what love is all about, then nothing will.

Since nobody else around here has the guts to object to this totally ridiculous flight of fancy, then I will.

Just because all of you want to make it legal so you can have sex with your mother, your father, your sister, your brother,  your daughter, your son, doesn't mean everyone supports your sexual perversions and your incestuous lustfulness.

I encourage citizens to participate in the debate over the July-October budget resolution which has just been introduced, and contribute ideas as to how we can best utilize a portion of the $5 billion in spending to combat homelessness apportioned by the federal government.

Again, another perverse piece of legislation by the same perverts who brought you the Legalize Incest Act.

Here they have legalized 14 year olds to be free to buy and view pornography.  Which only goes to show that the Northeast is controlled by immature perverted 14 year olds, and or those who have the mentality of immature perverted 14 year olds.

The Northeast is going to Hell in a hand basket.

I think you're confused. This bill doesn't set the age to be able to watch pornography at 14, it merely clarifies a bill that got rid of the NE's legal age to view pornography altogether. I assure you, I would not have voted for this bill if it increased the porn viewing age to 14.

Just because you support perverts marrying their mother and having sex with their immediate family members doesn't mean everyone does.

The Northeast Assembly is hereby now known as The Northeast Perv Assembly.

Again, they shouldn't have incestuous marriages then. Other people's marriages won't affect them in any way.
