Obviously a clear regional divide, except for the east (though not surprisingly Ernst has done the best there). Is Jacobs from Winnebago?

As one would expect, Clovis and Whitaker did best in roughly the same areas where Santorum and Paul did best, respectively.

Yes for Clovis (though being a popular radio host from Sioux city was probably the main factor) but Whitaker doesn't seem to have done well outside south Iowa where his district as US attorney was located.

Oh, so the mutually good performances in Jefferson and Van Buren were just a coincidence of geography.
