Rick Perry was asked about this, and said that being gay was kind of like being an alcoholic... you can choose to be "sober."

We've come a long way. I used to find this kind of talk sinister, but now he sounds trapped in the 1990s.

I don't support the gay agenda. What does that have to do with the person?

Well you're free to support your own hate loving agenda then. Does hate really make you feel that great about yourself? Does it feel amazing to hate yourself so strongly?
