I hope the Senator has kept informed with the latest developments, particularly those made through the Game Moderator's office.

Where do you think I got the idea to make the speech from? Wink I generally catch up with the cabinet threads on Saturdays.

Statement on the Elections

Well the election is just about upon us. Normally I would have preferred several more and longer speeches through my campaigns as several of you are painfully aware. Tongue However, this time the debate covered a lot of ground and whilst I had still hope to get in at least one more speech before the end of the campaign (and I still might), the level of campaigning as been acceptable if for no other reason then having two candidates meant that I didn't have compensate through my own campaign activity as I did the last two times. .

If anyone has any last minute questions, please post them here, in my townhall thread or if your prefer in private, then by PM. I thank my opponent for an exciting race and I look forward to seeing all citizens of this glorious region getting out and voting this weekend. Thank you and Dave Bless.

Statement on the Results

I want to begin by thanking my supporters and campaign workers without whom this victory would not have been possible. I said several times over the course of this campaign that the decision to finally run came hard and late (even later than I had planned). Yet in spite of that late start we ran a solid if not perfect campaign effort and managed to win the election in spite of having trailed most of last month and early this month in the polling.

On that note, I want to thank my opponent for a good clean race. I will also say that I extend my congratulations to Governors DemPGH and Windjammer and winning the President and Vice Presidency as well as to Senators bore, DC al Fine, TNF and TyriontheImperialist as well and to their opponents for producing such close or relatively close races in most of those contests. This is especailly the case with new Atlasian RR1997, who just after joining was willing to take on a near impossible task in trying to win the Midwest Senate seat. Though he did not succeed, he did well and will have a good future in this game if he is determined to keep trying.

Normally I would say this is not a time for a celebrations but a time to get to work and I would say that again, but frankly that has already happened (hence why this statement is a day or two late). I look forward to working with the new President and Vice President and helping them in what ways that I can over the coming four months as well as to keep fighting for and advocating for the good people of the IDS.

Thanks and Dave Bless!!!
