The Cantor folks think they will win by more than 13 points:

Meh.  Cantor will win, that's what matters.

Those numbers look embarrassingly low, but don't necessarily indicate 'trouble'.

As long as Mike "Idiot" Dickinson is the Dem, I'm not worried.

No Democrat even filed for the seat, so the general is uncontested (not that it would have anyways; Romney and Allen won the district handily by double digits).

Considering Cantor got booed by his own constituents at a recent event, I'm not exactly shocked to see Cantor a little vulnerable, but he should be able to avoid the primary on the basis of his further far-right appeal as of recently and Brat's lack of money.  If he was primaried, we would likely be stuck with Boehner again as Speaker (or maybe McCarthy) and nobody wants that.

Between the leans and the don't knows, I'd be shocked if Cantor loses tomorrow.

I think Mike Dickinson is his Democratic opponent.

I'd vote for Dickinson in an instant. He's one of my favorite candidates anywhere.

Eric Cantor..from being a potential vice presidential favorite of grassroots conservatives for McCain in 2008...to being ousted for being a "RINO" in 2014. Looks like Brat is probably going to be a congressman-elect unless the DCCC can raise money in that seat.

I can now register to vote in his district. I've been avoiding it for some time because I didn't want him as my congressman.

Those numbers look embarrassingly low, but don't necessarily indicate 'trouble'.

But apparently did.

Biggest primary upset since Manny Celler lost?

Judge Smith and Willis Robertson lost in '66 when the Organization imploded. Apparently last time a House Majority Leader lost was ... 1899.

Ugh.  If Cantor isn't conservative enough for Tea Partiers, that's scary.

Even they were way off. Cantor was up by 13 (and over 50%) in this poll, he looks set to lose by 12 points.

But considering Cantor had an internal showing him up 34 points just a week ago, this shows how useless internals are. I'm wondering if that was an actual poll result, or just made up numbers he fed to the media.
