Nope.  They always get stolen.  Besides, my town has an ordinance banning yard signs.  It isn't strictly enforced, but it's one of those "you-might-get-in-trouble-if-the-cop-is-having-a-bad-day" things.  And, every time I drive through neighboring Monroe, the neighborhoods are flooded with them.  The signs are plain as it is, but stacked beside each other everywhere, they really are an eyesore.

You're missing out Cheesy

But no, I don't put up campaign yard signs. Why risk ruining a perfectly good friendship with your neighbors, who may or may not be from the opposing party?

No.  I've never had a candidate I felt that strongly about.

I usually put a Tory sign on my lawn when election time rolls around.

I've never put a poster up,* though I wouldn't rule it out at some point in the future. It used to be really common here, though is getting rarer. Might be a generational thing; I think a lot of the people that put them up were people who were young or young-ish in the 1940s (who also used to vote at extremely high rates: a very politically involved generation or two), and they're almost all dead now.

Saying that, it's still common enough that you can - if you know what you're doing - use it to measure what's going on in a General Election, at least to an extent.

*Window posters being more common than lawn signs.

No, thankfully that is not a thing in Sweden. We were pins with the party symbols on our jackets/bags instead.

Eastern Texas/Houston area gets carpet bombed with signs every election, especially the primaries. Its not uncommon for people with large properties to line their fences with the huge signs form time to time.

I don't own a home but I would gladly display a sign if there was one available for a candidate that I was supporting.

Funny story about this. Yesterday, I took down a few Tillis signs (on public grounds). Today, when I was out shopping and walking back to my car, I noticed my Claitor bumper sticker was gone. Karma? Idk who in Charlotte would know who Dan Claitor is...

Yes, but only as the election draws nearer and nearer. I did put a Ron Paul sign up ahead of the 2012 Florida primary and it was stolen after one night (vandals hit our street-thankfully, my sign being stolen was the only thing missing/damaged on my street). I had an Allen West sign up in 2010, a sign from the campaign I worked on in 2012, and will later put up a Scott when I get my hands on one.

Generally not, although I'd like to this year.  Only problem is that there's road construction by my house right now, so the road is closed by my house and few people would probably see it (unless they ignored the sign and had to turn around.)

Don't know if it made the paper itself, but the Charlotte Observer website had a couple articles int he past week or so concerning Claitor and his push to force the LHSAA to let a 19 year old Ugandan refugee play high school football.
