The shooters apparently covered the officers' bodies with the Gadsen flag (aka the "Don't Tread on Me" flag). A search of their apartment also found white supremacist "paraphernalia."

More details on these creeps, who were apparently Cliven Bundy supporters. I'm surprised they aren't wearing Guy Fawkes masks, to be honest.
