His district is in the Caucasian section of the Northeast.  It is the "Great White Northeast" for a reason. Smiley

I think there are several Republicans from that section.  The former Speaker, Perzel, was from that section.  Up to at least 2000, there were a GOP House seats up there.

They probably could have had two "close" districts in the area.
