There is always the possibility its more than just ISIS, its not as if Al Qaeda and nationalist Sunni forces didn't work together when the US was still there. probably army defectors aswell.

Funny enough, many people fighting with ISIS do. Its been reported baathist groups and others are taking part.
Also people talking about Baghdad falling are silly. Unless they mean it will fall to shia militias.
