Yes, this was moved from Congressional Elections:

I've been thinking about making this thread for awhile, due to my interest in the Great Depression Era and the utter domination of the Democratic Party for most of the decade that saw extreme victories in every region of the country.  Especially in those states that were Republican bastion just a few years ago.
Now, 1932 and 1936 are also obvious candidates for some deep analyses, as the Democrats had their most massive gains in 1932 and 1936 was when they were at the zenith of power with the largest Congressional majorities since the post Civil War era.  However, due to the circumstances of 1934 (first midterm after FDR got elected) and more importantly some of the Democratic upsets I find it worthy of note.
