Have you ever had any politicians' kids (or any famous people's kids) as classmates?

I went to high school with John Thune's two daughters, and they were in a handful of classes with me. I even sat by one in geometry class.

No, but I shared my freshman Social Studies class with a girl who's a descendent of John Wilkes Booth and another girl who's a descendant of Benito Mussolini, if that counts.

You should have asked her if she had any ideas for how her father would be able to travel the country to campaign if he'd been picked as Romney's running mate, given that there are no air hubs in South Dakota.

I've gone to school with rapper Young Jeezy's son for the past 7 years. He sounds like a throat cancer victim whenever he talks do to his awful pronunciation of words.

My dad sold a truck to Robert Frost's nephew today, my youngest brother goes to school with Fat Joe's autistic son, my neighbor is a semi famous golfer, and I had a crush on Mel Martinez's niece when we were in sixth grade together.

I graduated from high school in 2006.

Anyway, I danced with one of the Thune girls during my freshman year, but that was only because the gym teacher made all the boys dance with random girls.  We were polite with each other, and I did not tell her how happy I was that Tim Johnson had just beaten her father.

On an unrelated note, I was watching Tim Johnson on C-SPAN yesterday and was amazed that he has been able to keep pressing on nearly eight years after he had that horrible aneurism. I have actually never heard him speak, and while it is clear that he is doing much, much better now, I still can’t believe that he is willing to continue on. Kudos to him.

Louise Slaughter's grandson is one of my friends - she picks him up after school with no security that I can see.

Does the daughter of the federal Green candidate in Ottawa-Vanier in the 2008 election count? I'm at a loss otherwise. My friend and I did see her making out with some douche on some dirty couch in some ditch along the river once. She was a total moron.

(incidentally, the provincial Green candidate in my riding in the 2011 election was in one my classes in uni once, I seem to hang out around Green Party dolts).

Yes, but they're more local/statewide. I went to high school with a friend whose dad is the Administrative and Presiding Judge on the Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court (if that counts) and his dad's colleague on the court is currently running for the Ohio Supreme Court. I don't know if this counts either, but one of my friends went to a different high school with Ohio State Rep. Michael Foley's (D) daughter, so we're both 1 for 1, though Foley is probably the bigger name of the two.

I went to college with Chuck Schumer's niece. Beautiful girl! Total trust fund hippie back in the day, though I presume she's grown out of it by now.

I believe I had a classmate in high school (at least one year behind me) who was distantly related to President Hayes.

The son of my Congressman at the time was in my graduating class in high school. We had some of the same classes, but I didn't really know him.

No one famous, though I had a few classmates whose parents were CEOs of some of the larger companies headquartered in Houston.
