I could see him being the frontrunner if Hillary declines to run. But some people view him as unelectable, very bland, foolish, and some people view him as another Mondale-Dukakis for some reason, but if he runs, he'll be a tough challenger.

Well-rehearsed, not offensive, experienced enough. Kinda reminds me of this guy:


I guess so; it's better for some candidates be like O'Malley or Pawlenty, just don't make waves.

How would O'Malley do in polling against a good Republican candidate? Would his blandness tune voters out and would his fairly decent record be ignored due to his "rain tax" and his very, very generic brand?

His wife, Katie O'Malley is a judge and is prohibited from making campaign events. If he ran, I don't know if she would want to give up her job for a campaign. In today's politics, campaign spouses are expected to campaign for their spouses, and O'Malley may not get that opportunity.
