USA: San Francisco, Seattle, Washington DC, or any progressive stronghold
UK: Scotland (probably)

In the other four, it would be where the main center-left/social democratic party/parties are strongest.

USA: Probably certain parts of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, coupled with a few places out in the industrial (or I guess post-industrial in some cases) Midwest.
UK: Scotland, the Northeast of England, maybe the Welsh valleys.
Canada: Maybe Quebec, northern Ontario, Manitoba and possibly parts of Saskatchewan that the NDP used to win up until the 2000's.
Australia: Tasmania.
France: South-Western France and Brittany.
Germany: Nordrhein-Westfalen and the Saarland. Possibly Berlin as well.
