I honestly also think she is just tired of all the scrutiny. Age IS a serious factor as well as health. Can you imagine how much stress this would be on a woman in her 70's especially after other health issues? The Democrats only want her because she's a woman and that there is no one else who could possibly compete against a GOP that is beginning to take a new, unified form.

Yeah, but I don't know, expressing interest in returning to private life is barely a denial at all and "I've ruled it out" also seems par for the course for someone who wants to be coy as long as she can.


Here's what I had after about a year of Obama's presidency.

I think she'll step down at the end of 2012, write a book for 5 million dollars, campaign for Democrats in 2014 and use that election as a gauge of political winds.  If they portend well for Democrats, I'd say it's better than 50-50 she runs.

Nope. I fought in the trenches against Hillary on this forum as a wayward teenager nearly 8 years ago and I'll do the same again. Sure, I'll probably ultimately vote for her when she clinches the nomination but until she does, I'll be against her.
