HO. I can understand why people might want to be armed, but they go way beyond that and turn it into something resembling cult worship.

That seems to be a common line of argument among True Leftists (see Snowstalker and TNF's posts) so I just assumed you adopted it as well. Sorry if I was mistaken.

Well rebellion in modern America of either stripe would be super hard. The old joke about "yeah Tea Partiers old FaL's sure will help you defeat the guys with drones, F-14's, Abrams, and nukes Roll Eyes" applies just as well to leftist revolution.

Which is not to say it is impossible; this country was founded on rebellion against the strongest nation on Earth.

I support them, but they really do get on my nerves. For example, their headquarters, which includes a private bathroom (and a marble shower) that was funded with donation money. I wouldn’t want to donate to this organization, and plenty of other organizations exist that protect gun rights in a more articulate and rational manner.

Lean FO.

FO. Far better than the GOA, which is just a conservative advocacy group.

Don't underestimate the teabagger army of seniors in mobility scooters. They would destroy our military and occupy the capitol within a week.

I thought you said I wasn't a true leftist. Tongue

Anyway, massive HO, and I support gun ownership rights.

Mixed. Most people lack the skills to own a firearm, and even fewer people have any use for a firearm. However, NRA protect the rights of hunters and people who may have legitimate safety concerns.

The NRA is the slick marketing and propaganda arm of a billion dollar industry that wants to sell products.  They don't care about gun owners or hunters or freedom or whatever, they care about making money off of guns.  These people are willing to see black kids get shot just to make a few extra dollars.  It's sick.
