I liked old Einzige, he was an interesting contributor despite undeniable attitude problems. However, his current persona of a neonazi troll fully deserved to be kicked out.

This. I liked the old E.

Basically, if you talk about sleeping with prostitutes on or off of the forum, you're done for.

Yes, but the discussion on banning was sparked by his posting a new thread (now deleted) in which he cheerfully admitted to convincing a heroin addict to prostitute herself for him, and that he looked forward to doing it to other addicts someday.  Regardless of whether discussions about illegal activities off the forum are banworthy in itself, it probably doesn't adhere to Dave's noble vision for his Atlas.

He also claimed himself to be a LaVeyan Satanist, which is a pretty good indicator that he's no older than the age of twelve.

In all seriousness though, his general behavior, to me, seemed to make a sufficient case for his re-banning.  The prostitution story had a big role, no doubt, but it was pretty obvious the guy only came here to annoy everyone.

Anyone remember when Einzige called Straha a NeoConfederate and a Reaganite in the same post?

I miss Straha. He was the first person here to realize how much of a complete f[inks]ing idiot Einzige was and owned him pretty badly. And of course he got banned for it.

Definitely a classic forum feud. Ah, the good ol' days.

Its proof that if someone is allowed back and it doesn't work out, we can go right back to where we were.

For the record, I don't support all bans, in reality very few, but there are a few whom I personally (since I have no authority to do anything about it) feel deserved it and never should be allowed to return and Einzige was one of them.

Only my view.
