A further tiny announcement

Just to say that I have decided - after hanging around as a sort of substitute moderator for a couple of months - to quit entirely as moderator of this board (and as a mod in general). There are a couple of reasons for this; one of which is that I've grown tired of feuding with certain other moderators (I'm a comparatively combative person and can't help myself sometimes). The others are more personal.

Anyway, it's been a good... er... way too many years and this board is in capable hands. I intend to remain an active poster, obviously.

This is probably the single best board on this forum, and that is mainly due to you, Al.  I'm glad to see that you'll be sticking around as a poster, however.

I don't think having both Antonio and Hashemite as a duo would be quite such a good idea. Either one or the other.

Thankfully, Hash is doing a marvelous job on this board, both as moderator and contributor, so we can be certain about IE's continuous quality.

I tip my hat, oh great one. I think almost all posters who frequent this board would agree that you  have been the best mod on Atlas Forum. Though Hash is doing a damn fine job filling your shoes, and I think both you and we can all feel secure in you handing over full responsibility to him, and you deserve a peacful retierment. After all the most important thing is to have you around to make witty, insightful and informative posts.
