At the moment, I think Scott wins in a very close one.

I hate to say this but, due to the FL Democrats screwing it up (see Indiana Pacers in postseason), Scott wins in a CLOSE election by less than 1 percentage point.

Guys...Scott has been barraging Crist over the air for months. Crist hasn't even started campaigning yet, but he will, and he's raising enough money. Sure Crist and the FDP suck, but Crist will be fine. Still Lean D.

Gut feeling, Scott by a knife edge. Florida Democrats will once more seize defeat from the jaws of victory.

We can win this. We can't win either chamber of the Legislature, CFO, or Ag Commish, as is normal, but we can pick off Southerland, Scott, and maybe Bondi.

The Pacers went a lot further than most were expecting. Truth is, they weren't nearly as bad as some of the idiots on ESPN were saying, but they weren't nearly as good as Miami.

I agree with this (well, except the lean D part). If at best Scott can muster a 1-2 point lead after barraging Crist for months uninterrupted, it doesn't bode well for his chances when Crist starts striking back.

But why is Crist waiting until July to start campaigning and advertising anyway? His campaign has been pretty incompetent so far.

Crist is waiting way too long to kick-off his campaign and the negative images people have of him (even before this year) aren't helping. Rick Scott will win.

Problem is that Crist has NOT even ran any TV commercials yet at this stage of the game.

Scott is still hammering him 24/7 with non-stop TV Ads: morning, noon and night.

Rick Scott is being very smart.  He's defining Charlie Crist NOW and once voters get an image of the candidate, it's tough to change.  Again.  Many Florida voters already think Crist is a flip-flopper and with plenty of family in South FL, Charlie doesn't inspire many hardcore democrats.
