Inks is running for the Michigan House?! Jesus  ing Christ.

I would probably vote for Clemente in this case. According to ballotpedia, the Republican who lost to Clemente in 2012 only garnered 26% of the vote, but still, if the best recruit Republicans can get here is a 24 year old member of a political forum who himself has proven he can't lead as a mod or the Speaker of a legislature of a fantasy game, then just lol.

What's wrong with my job as Speaker?

Paul Clemente is staunchly pro-life so all good social conservatives have a duty to vote for the Democratic ticket in this election!

you, um, haven't posted in the legislature in days. pretty sure some of the current bills should have gone to a final vote by now.

No, I'm waiting to finish the budget because I had the duties of the governor shifted to me.

I'd vote for Inks, because it would be so cool to have an Atlas poster who is an actual politician.

We once had a statesman named DW Perry...I say "we" reluctantly because he left before my time or shortly after I joined.

We do now as well. Muon is a State Representative in the Illinois legislature.

He's now running for State House here, funnily enough.

Former poster "nhmagic" was a member of the NH House.

Really?  Interesting, and a bit worrisome (unless I'm confusing him with a different blue NH avatar).

WHAT?! He was one of the kookiest Republicans we've ever had. That's like bandit being in the Kentucky House.

The NH House has some absurdly high number of representatives for its population though, so it's more like being on a local board.

To be fair, if you live in New Hampshire the chances are your plumber and your insurance agent are also in the State House.
