Gully's told me who it is - my final clue (and I'm honestly confused as to how no one has managed to get this yet, joke answers aside) is that both ShadowOfTheWave and BaconBacon96 were close to home with their guesses of Ed Rendell and Bob Casey, but not necessarily in the most obvious way.
