But if Al Gore were to challenge Hillary, how would he do so? The former VP of Bill Clinton challenging Bill Clinton's wife is something I find very hard to imagine. They come from the same faction of the party, really.
That could be advantageous.

One reason Obama was able to beat Hillary was high support among African-American voters who were expected to support her.

Some overlap of support would be essential.

Nobody has got it so far.

Shadowofthewave was closest with Rendell.

If Al Gore wanted to be president that badly, he would've run in 2004 or 2008 when he actually would've had a great shot at winning (and was much more relevant than he is now).

A Jimmy Carter / Bill Clinton vs. George HW Bush / George W Bush race? Hey, it would guarantee that 2020 is an open election.

Hmm...Likely a mayor, since Rendell and Booker were mayors, and likely of a large Northeastern city, so perhaps...

Newly elected Mayor of Newark Ras Baraka?

Just read up on him; he's  the son of a prominent radical activist and poet, and he has a lot of support from a diverse group of people. He's also made some gestures toward Wall Street and courting their support-much like Obama did leading up to 2008.

Not sure if this is correct, but that's my guess for now.

Alternately, it could be Shavar Jeffries, who lost to Baraka. Tongue

Lmao. Amiri Baraka's son is not getting anywhere close to the White House.

This is stupid, just tell us.
