A bit of an effort to encourage discussion and measure the public perception of the nominees currently facing their confirmation hearings, while at the same time giving me a bit of advice from my constituency. Most of them should be popular choices, but it doesn't hurt to have a poll anyway.

Three days!

(Hopefully this one will work)

I doubt I could do much harm as AG. I argued just once case in my day and kept on top of the wiki. Smiley

This is probably the best cabinet in my time here, yet these are by far the worst numbers I have seen.

And yet, with the exception of Lumine's questions in the confirmation threads, none of the critics have voiced a concern. Go figure.

Oddly, the only one I have a problem with is the only one without a confirmation thread.  Go figure.

Well, the lack of response is certainly worrying in some regards, but if the Senate provides me with four threads to complain and act unreasonable and vindictive, well, I'm certainly not complaining about having that chance...

My bad! I must say these results are rather interesting, it seems there are more concerns than I originally thought...

I had issues with Napoleon during my term in the Senate, but he's been gone from there for a while, and seems to have done a decent job in the Northeast Assembly, so I hope giving him a non-elected role will inspire the best.

Approve of Nix and Hagrid obviously. Hopefully Snowstalker does well, though I am disappointed that he won't be representing the Midwest. Simfan's performance as GM does not inspire confidence from me in a new role, but again, I hope for the best.

I proudly support the other cabinet nominees for their respective positions (and I would like to be appointed myself Wink)

Results:

SoIA HagridOfTheDeep (Fed) - 80/20% (Net Positive: 60%)
SoEA Averroes Nix (Lab) - 71/29% (Net Positive: 42%)
A.G. Simfan34 (TPP) -55/45% (Net Positive: 10%)
D.A.G Snowstalker (Lab) - 51/49% (Net Negative: 2%)
GM Napoleon (Lab) - 45/55% (Net Negative: 10%)

Total Voters: 41

It's pretty obvious that Averroes Nix and Hagrid are incredibly popular choices as SoEA and SoIA, backed by an overwhelming majority of Atlasian voters. That said, the rest of the picks seem to be a problem with public opinion as Simfan's positive margin can't compare to Hagrid and Nix and Snowstalker and Napoleon have negative numbers (more evident in the case of Napoleon with a clear majority of Atlasians not approving of his pick). Overall, the administration can expect to get the nominees passed through the Senate and Nix and Hagrid start with a lot of potential in the eyes of the public as good choices for the cabinet, but the rest of the nominees have a lot of work to do to reverse some of these numbers.
