I assume almost all Dems will answer 'yes' to the first question, but I was wondering about the second.

Definitely Option 1 for me. I can't stand the way he got to power, and his way of thinking.

Bottom option.

Felt like voting...because...well...I'm bored.

Politically? Yes

Personally? No, I'd actually want to hang out with him.

I already said no in the 'politically' part of the question.

Not a Democrat.  I don't always agree with him politically, and I don't tend to associate with apparent idiots either, but I imagine he'd be a good drinking buddy.  Or at least he would have been, before he 'reformed'.

To answer the first question, politically I am luke warm towards, maybe slightly positive, though I move on that quite constantly.

I voted for him, but that's primarily because the Democrats put up a candidate who I couldn't vote for.

Simply put, I disagree with him on most fiscal matters, because frankly he is to the left of me fiscally, with all the runaway spending and crap, something which I care deeply about.

Socially, I agree with him more, but here he is often too conservative.

Foreign policy-wise I agree with him the most, even though my realist side sometimes says no to the rather Wilsonian liberal tact he has taken in office.

Personally, I've always liked him.  He's a nice guy and seems much more in touch with real America than his father was.

I'm sure I would find him unbearable.  As A18 points out he is a religious, but he's also a drunk, and an obnoxious frat boy who's idea of fun involves a super-heated ranch in the middle of nowhere.

Actually his dad, though not the most appealing person in the world, seems much more tolerable than him.

I've always got the impression that he'd be a little frat boy-ish for me personally, but I do not know whether I'd dislike him or not, because I've never met him. I definitely disagree with him on social issues.

It shocks me how he got elected as an outsider, he's about as inside as can be. Even if he is a truly authentic cowboy, i wouldn't like him because I'm not that type, he's too religous for my tastes (which might just be a ploy to get elected, I don't know), and he's well above me economically, which has him leading a much different lifestyle.

I also don't like him personally or morally in the sense that I think he manipulated 9/11 to get bills across and has run one of the most arrogant administrations in recent memory, in terms of releasing information, treating the press decently, etc.

I have nothing against the man on a personal level, though I disagree with his worldview and positions on the issues pretty strongly.

Although that's not exactly a huge achivement. Still true though.

Politically, yes.  I sincerely doubt I could ever get along with him in any fashion, but personally, no.

Don't care for him much politically...

personally...he seems like a personable guy...probably could have a few beers with him (well not anymore)...I probably would not dislike...but I wouldn't be a close friend of the guy either. (likely because culturally we're worlds apart)

Like many, I am really angry about Bush's cavalier approach to illegal immigration.

Also, it seems to me that Bush be pushing a program to increase refining capacity to ease gasoline prices in the long term, and abandon social security reform as being an impossible dream.

Anyone that wears their religion on his/her sleeve really peeves me.  I don't get along with that kind of person.

From the political standpoint I definitely dislike him since I disagree so often and so adamently with him.

On the personal side ... I can't really say since I don't know the man personally.
