Massive FF for changing his name to "Pro-Life", even though I disagree with his pro-life views.

FF for being an organic strawberry farmer.  Do yourself a favor if you've only had those mass produced massive supermarket strawberries, try some locally grown organic strawberries.

If you were asked to describe the political views of a vegetarian who works as an organic strawberry farmer, something tells me most people wouldn't be thinking of this guy...

Clearly a massive FF. He should have ran as a Republican and joined the bundle of fun that the Bible thumping curmudgeon and the "GET THIS LUNATIC OUT OF MY CELLAR!" guy had. Tongue

I admire him for following his passion and taking the effort to re-name his own name, FF. But lets keep it clear on politics, he left the Constitution Party and the LDS church because they weren't pro-life enough...

He's...unique. I wonder how many people in the world are antiabortion, anti death penalty, antiwar vegetarians who don't drink or do drugs but maybe smoke marijuana.

Ron Paul (minus the marijuana) fits this profile.

Actually, he is not, but he went on for quite a while about his eating and exercise habbits with Piers Morgan two years ago. So he is fairly close....I guess.

Me, minus the vegetarian part.

I would also throw in being aversed to coffee and soda...

Basically, this Rod Dreher seems to believe that people with preindustrial values need to live preindustrial lifestyles. Which, to me, makes sense. I know that a lot of right-wing churches want their young people to "court", rather than "date". Its kind of like arranged marriage but the young person tries to negotiate the marriage of the who they are attracted to initially with the parents.

I'm really close to that, depending on how strictly one defines "antiwar" and whether I "maybe smoke marijuana." Tongue

This was kind of what  I think of in a modern Christian lifestyle once you took out the pagan  Indo European influence from the  Romans and Germanics as well as modern norms of industrialized society. Basically what the original Christians would be like if they existed in large numbers today.

I'm kind of like that, except I'm pro-choice, pro-death penalty, support a hawkish foreign policy, and eat meat... Wink

You're the type of Republican who thinks everyone is a hippie, huh? It does feel like that sometimes, doesn't it?
