"We support the repeal of the first line of the First Amendment and making Christianity the official religion of the United States."

I'm not going to vote obviously, but it would be blatantly unconstitutional and a silly idea that would be debunked immediately.

Of course not. A state religion would contradict Christian teachings.

As a Hindu Republican, of course I'm going to vote no. Doing this would not only be unconstitutional, it would also destroy America like Maxwell said.

I can't see anyone on this forum supporting this except for Cassius and NJ Christian.

NJ Christian isn't a Republican.

I know that. I am not talking about just the Republicans, I'm talking about the forum in general.

No, it should be narrowed down to a specific denomination like in a civilized country. (normal)

Yes. It would enrage the atheists and the people that don't know 90% of our morals are from Christianity.

Okay, don't ever quote the Constitution in other arguments, you just lost your credibility.

Christianity should be the official religion of the NBA.  Wouldn't it be cool to hear Marv Albert say, "Today's game is brought to up by Christianity, who remind you Jesus is decides the outcome of all sporting events, Christianity, the official religion of the National Basketball Association."

it would be blatantly unconstitutional

(Properly) amending the constitution can not be unconstitutional by definition.
