I discovered this gem at the "New Arrivals" table at Barnes & Noble today.

Here's a peek inside:

Obviously we are all going to want to read this and discuss it at length...

Finally, somebody is speaking up for my generation. With the advent of Twitter and the focus on communicating via social media these days, I was worried that Millenials were going to lose out on having a voice in the debates that matter to our nation. Not so. Thank you, Ms. Kieffer. Thank you so much.

"solutions for mass violence with more love and more guns"

Because if it isn't a suburban spree killing, it doesn't count, amirite?

...

I'm reminded of this lovely tome:

You know, considering how intelligent she seems to be (at least through college), I wonder if a lot of this is just bait to sell the book. You have to admit, conservative narratives sell well.

Of course. This woman is just the latest to make a living off of trolling. I'm pretty active in my local GOP and was formally involved in the local Tea Party, and if their is one thing Conservatives love more than their hate for Obama, its a young Conservative (or the one black guy at the Tea Party rally-they really love that guy Tongue).

You can certainly judge some books by their cover.

About half the things on that list don't even have anything to do with Millennials. If she's going to make a bullsh[inks] argument, she should at least be consistent in it and try to be a little creative. 2/10 for effort.

Has anyone else here ever heard of the "New Shacking Up"?

I thought she was referring to children staying with their parents longer but on further investigation I think she's referring to couples, in an intimate relationship but who aren't married, living together and having children out of wedlock.

So I guess she's blaming Obama for more gays getting married and less straights getting married? Those wacky conservatives.

2.5/10, because of her looks.

Her résumé focuses on achievements from high school: http://katiekieffer.com/about/

She should run for office in her state. She has youth and could appeal to young people that like this. But she may come across as a regular talking head.

She's going to make a lot of money from the Fox News demographic buying it for their grandchildren and great-grandchildren to set them straight.

What is the Oxford comma? And preferring it as opposed to what exactly?

Watching the clip of her on FOX and Friends on her site; she's pretty creepy and not very bright.

Millennials also like definite articles, too, so you're at least consistent.

http://townhall.com/columnists/katiekieffer/2012/03/26/gays_females_and_equals/page/full

Her writing is like a bullsh**tty, last-minute college freshman essay.  It's not that she seems stupid.  It's that her thesis, argument, and supporting details barely seem related, and she seems to intentionally avoid making her argument clear because it would reveal it as more simplistic/narrow.

also, I like how the first Google search suggest is "katie kiefer instagram" because god the internet is sad.  At least it isn't "katie kiefer feet"
