The 2013 team went 66-16. The Cavaliers might do that at some point if Andrew Wiggins reaches his ceiling. They will not do that next year.

It's title or bust for the Cavaliers. Period.

Bust? Are they going to take their team away if they don't win?

And to answer the OP question: no, probably not. They won't win the championship this year. They're certainly going to be better than this year's Heat squad but that's not saying much.

65 wins minimum this year.

granted those miami teams could have been so much better without wade's malingering.

The Cavs teams in Lebron's final 2 years won over 60 games, and they may again next year. It all comes down to whether the Cavs get Kevin Love in a trade. If they do, I could see them contending. If they don't, I think they have at least a year.

San Antonio will still be the best team in the NBA next year, and if they land Gasol as the rumor is suggesting, I don't see anyone in the East beating them.

If they trade for Love, a few role players emerge (either via FA or player development), and Irving steps up his game a little, I could see them getting 60ish wins and winning the title.
