It's a high media story, and it's trending more right now than the U.S.-Mexico border crisis.

Should've stayed in US General, tbh. I'm curious how the Hobby Lobby case affected his decision.

I realize he wants to "go home" and all, but I have no sympathy for Cleveland in this. LeBron was accused of "quitting," etc. after giving Cleveland seven long and hard years, and Gilbert acted like a bigger jerk than he did when he left. Moreover, LeBron would not have won a title there because they never put anyone around him, and I'd be shocked if he won one now. The best thing LeBron ever did was get away from Cleveland and Gilbert.

They're likely going to be trading Wiggins for Love. There will be a new big 3 in Cleveland so they at least have a chance.

I have to hand it to Lebron for doing this. It may result in him not ever winning a title again, but his decision has to be applauded.

Yes, Gilbert's behavior 4 years ago was silly, but Lebron's was equally as silly. I think he never really wanted to leave Cleveland, but his sponsors and his handlers all convinced him he had to to win a title, something that he was never entitled to in the first place. The way he broke it, on a TV show nonetheless, was just as bad as Gilbert's reaction.

Something that Lebron has now that he didn't 4 years ago is leverage - he tried to recruit players like Wade and Bosh to Cleveland 4 years ago and they didn't want to live there. Now that he's a champion, he is going to be able to recruit others there - the Mike Millers, the Ray Allens, maybe even Kevin Love. And Irving is a better player than Lebron ever had in Cleveland the first time around.

I'm excited for this move, as I never liked Miami and how that team came about, and I'm rooting for him to win a title in Cleveland except if they're playing the Hornets or Spurs.

He actually has a hell of a lot more support around him now. The best consistent supporting cast that LeBron ever had was Mo Williams, Anderson Varejao, and Zydrunas Ilgauskas. Now, they actually have the first real star LeBron had since Carlos Boozer in Kyrie Irving, and they either have a budding superstar in Andrew Wiggins or a top 10 player in Kevin Love.

And on the bright side, I can actually like Ray Allen again.

Yep, he's coming home! Cheesy

There's already a huge billboard welcoming him back downtown and his return is being viewed pretty highly for someone whose name used to be "shunned" before Miami stole him from us. Overall, with the return of LeBron as well as the RNC and Johnny Manziel, Cleveland is about to make a huge comeback with the Super Bowl ring in February 2015 and the NBA Championship in June 2015 and the RNC a year after that, so we're about to see a heck of a lot of visitors and media.

We aren't happy he's back to bring back the championship necessarily, but we just have to forgive and forget when he defaced Cleveland before because he initially was and always will be an Ohioan. Ultimately, the Heat hurt themselves with all of their cutbacks which might make Bosh and D-Wade leave to and we benefited from it by bringing home the jersey, the money and the eye candy!

I guess you can say LeBron is #KeepingClevelandStrong.

Bosh already resigned with Miami, so I don't see him or Wade leaving.

A lot of Heat "fans" from places not near South Beach are putting their gear up on Craig's List right now.  Where they will sit unsold.

He'll stay in Cleveland unless he's traded for Love. Last I heard, the 3 way deal for Love didn't involve Wiggins, just Thompson and a few others.

Took Bulls out of free agent mix with Melo. By demanding the max deal, it forced the bulls out of the open, having no cap space for Melo, since DRose has the max.

Melo, could have won a ring with the Bulls, but money, and leaving Bulls without a true scorimg threat was more important.

Good luck Melo on your non championship yrs with Knicks.

I'm glad he's going back.  Somehow, he decided to kiss and make up. Smiley

On a related note: my cousin (who has both played and coached basketball for years) says that LeBron James is the greatest basketball player of all time.  And yet he lived in Chicago when Michael Jordan played there.

With LeBron James and possibly Kevin Love in Cleveland, that will make them a contender probably in the 2015-2016 season.  I personally hope LeBron does not win any more championships.  Kevin Durant, who I believe is equally as good as BronBron, needs to win some championships.
