I'll go with once per band. I suppose if you do it once near the start of the set and once near the end it's not that big of a deal, but anyone who crowdsurfs every song, or worse, multiple times a song is a complete douche. I've seen people crowdsurf as many as four times during a single song!

I'll agree with you. Once per band makes sense, as it doesn't limit you to once-and-never-again, but at the same time obviously sets constraints on how often you do it. I've only done it once, though at that specific show, I remember people going by multiple times.

Notice how often the girl with the very bright red hair gets on stage and jumps off. Granted she is hot so I wouldn't mind if that was happening with her at a show I was at.

It depends on the show, right?  You can't crowd surf at a concert in Branson, Missouri.  You also probably shouldn't crowd surf if you're over 22, or if you're sober.  How much?  It depends whether you're annoying people. 

Personally, I have bad memories about that kind of show where people mosh pit around.  In my home town, you would just get yahoos who would attend hardcore shows so they could punch people.

It depends how good you are.  If you suck, then never, though I only say that because if you suck, maybe they wont catch you.

I present to you two people who have obviously never been to a Minneapolis hardcore show. Especially if it's some band from around the turn of the millennium playing their "reunion" show that they play at least once a year.

It's fine to crowdsurf multiple times at one show as long as you don't become that guy.  

I've crowdsurfed twice but now I'm too paranoid about losing my keys or wallet. Tongue
