Anyone else think that the move from 16 to 24 teams was a bad thing? It's become far less of a tight, no-room-for-error competition and almost makes qualifying redundant if half of the UEFA makes it in.

Unfortunately, the expansion to 24 teams has rendered unlikely the prospect of ever seeing a traditional power miss out on the competition again.
