Malky Mackay's career seems to be over, at least for a few years.

Highlights!

"Go on, fat Phil. Nothing like a Jew that sees money slipping through his fingers."

"He's a snake, a gay snake. Not to be trusted."

With reference to some potential signings:

"Not many white faces amongst that lot but worth considering."

On a Korean player:

"Fycking chinkys, fyck it. There's enough dogs in Cardiff for us all to go round."

And so on.

Of course such... sentiments... are unfortunately very much mainstream in the Land of Football, as demonstrated by the League Managers Association's description of the texts as 'banter' and by Harry Redknapp claiming that it's no big deal because (and I quote) "he's not murdered anyone, he's not a rapist or a paedophile." Methiks many senior football figures are deleting text messages and emails as I type.

Yeah, fycking bankers. They nearly sank the entire British economy back in 2008.

Finally, a win. And as almost all our previous games have been draws...

I hope everyone is pleased with the Blyth Spartans result in the cup the other day. If you aren't you aren't a real football fan.

RIP Hereford United (1924-2014)

Presumably we'll be seeing an AFC Hereford United (or whatever) in due course, as is the usual way. There are some... kind of horrifying... photos and stuff relating to the last days of the club here. This is the state of grassroots football in the Year of Our Lord 2014...

Anyone upset at Chelsea losing needs to be summarily trepanned.

Hey, we won a game!

Mixed news out of the Championship, as beloved Wolves fall just short (on goal difference) of making it into the promotion play-offs. Sad

There's no club that's crueler to support than Wolves. Of course they fell just short of getting into the play offs.

If we get another point we're safe; admittedly the last two games are against Arsenal and Chelsea. But Newcastle and Hull both lost today...
