As expected, Ravenel filed to run against Graham yesterday, submitting 16,469 signatures, of which he needs 10,000 to be valid. However, Scott also picked up a petition challenger, Brandon Christina Armstrong, a Mount Pleasant painting contractor. With only 12,595 signatures submitted, I'm doubtful she'll have 10,000 valid signatures. T-Rav probably has enough, but I wouldn't be totally surprised if he doesn't. The SEC has until 15 August to certify the petitions.
