Looks pretty horrific at the moment, from the videos and pictures that are spreading through social media. Apparently a fire at chemical plant got out of hand, causimg the initial explosion which then spread to a nearby store of gas. The initial explosion was equivalent to 3 tonnes of TNT, the second 21 tonnes.

Yes, I've seen them. I'm amazed that there are only 50 confirmed deaths... although that number could rise.

That sounds quite optimistic. Twitter is saying that the 200 figure comes from a police officer who gave an unauthorized estimate to media, saying they've found 200 bodies, of which 120 are those of first responders.
