I am also confused on the for sure-ness of the Kingston people. Perdue has been catching up in the polls in spite of a lack of endorsements, and I think he has the momentum at the moment, and in a low turnout scenario like this, that matters a great deal.

I will take my accolades now. I was saying watch for Perdue when he was polling at 8% and even King Griffy was saying "who?"

People didn't think Purdue had a chance? His ability to self fund, last name, outsider status, and the fractured field automatically made him a strong contender in my eyes, even when he was polling at nothing.

The conversation I saw back then was "DEAR JESUS PAUL BROUN COULD WIN" and "Karen Handel is doomed". Only one of those proved to be right.

And on the run-off: I think Republican voters saw Kingston's move to impeachment as incredibly desperate, and I think most GOP voters, in their heart of hearts, think impeachment is really freaking stupid.
