I think I've received some good counterarguments to this, like the one mentioned here by President DemPGH, but I still would like it to become a case for how much our government can afford this kind of personal affairs. For more information on the costs, check this quote:

Personally, I don't consider supporting this a priority. It was only supposed to be a small idea to relief the budget and lighten up our health care system. It's now up to you, Senators.
