Hey, TNF, do you have any data on that 16 hrs/wk number? I'm trying to understand the methodology here.

It's very tough to find much quantitative data on the subject, which is very disappointing to me. Most news sources seem to be printing editorials describing a desire to shorten the work week, but that's not much more than one man or woman's opinion, of course.

A vote on a motion to table this bill is now open. Senators, please vote Aye, Nay, or Abstain.

Nay

I apologize for not responding in this thread, I must have missed it. I would like to continue debate on this bill and at the very least put it to a vote.

Nay

If the bill is to be defeated or passed, so be it. I won't ever vote to table a bill unless it appears the sponsor has given up on it, or it appears that a majority of the Senate agree that the bill is not worth moving forward.

Neither of those seems the case here.

Nay, although we will have to revisit the minimum wage debate if and when we start seriously debating UBI.

Aye

But for the same reason that Alfred voted no. If we are going to "revisit" then we should free the slot up until that time, particularly if that is after this Trial run project in the other bill being discussed.

One vote either way will make the difference here.
