Why is Meet the Press with David Gregory's ratings so low?

The well-known Sunday talk show Meet the Press has had a long history of of success. But for the past year, the show has dipped to low ratings. Some blame the host, David Gregory. Why do you think the talk show is doing so poorly? Should they replace Gregory?

We're such an ADD society now that we can only handle our news in 5-minute snippets being delivered by mental patients like Rush Limbaugh and Alex Jones. Tell David Gregory to shout more and figure out a way to make the veins in his forehead visibly throb and he should be good to go.

Any normal person is too hung over on Sunday morning to watch Meet the Press.  But, sure, David Gregory is terrible.  He tries to show off with his questions instead of interviewing.

Chuck Todd is obviously a smarter, less annoying.  I think the network just takes issue with Chuck Todd's inability to decide which part of his face is a chin and jawline.  They ought to replace David Gregory with a British person or a cranky old person.

The show was rightfully Chuck's anyway. He took over as NBC's Political Director when Russert died, and he should've gotten MTP too? Gregory fails to hold people's feet to the fire, ask follow ups, or hold guests accountable for what they've said and done. That's what Russert did and that's what Todd does.

In my area it was a Sunday morning time slot, so most people are at church when it comes on.  I do TiVo it however.

Sunday Morning shows are watched by olds. They have fond memories of George Stephanopoulos on the campaign trail in 92 and Bob Schieffer covering Watergate. They don't know who David Gregory is.

Not this old.  Gregory is a horrible douchebag and the other shows are unwatchable as well.......but Gregory is the worst.

While I'm never awake to watch it live, I do have an affinity for Sunday Morning with Charles Osgood. It's a staple on my DVR.
