0 for me.

I've accidentally put people on ignore a couple of times while intending to quote them, and I immediately unignored them.

Same here.

I don't believe in the ignore function. If a poster is publicly acknowledged as a nuisance, they should be banned. Otherwise there's no point in truncating part of the forum.

I have a built in ignore function, so the forum's is only a failsafe. Mine has had no errors.

That is odd, because you have responded to several of my posts.....

I've got adblock, it does nothing for sigs that are too tall (like yours).

Right click -> "Block Element" ?

Cadan and Politico for a period of time. The later was too deranged to ignore. Looking foward to his return as a Cuomo/anti-Christie hack.

I've accidentally ignored one or two people before (I think one was TDAS, but I quickly unignored him for obvious reasons). However, I don't intentionally ignore anybody since it would only bug me ignoring someone only to end up deciding to show any posts of those ignored in the long run plus, I would feel kind of guilty if I did that to someone, no matter how bad they might be.

One way or another, even if they're a terrible poster, there's always somebody who usually contributes something the forum whether it's maps or analyses or something as simple as being funny or FC-OT discussion.

5 - 9.

I use the ignore function to alert me to a troll so I know not to take their posts seriously. I usually read responses without really looking to see who the poster is, so if I come across an ignored person, I can read their post without wasting my time responding to them.

I have no one on ignore. Snowstalker used to be on my ignore list, but then I started to grow fond of him.

I tried it once or twice when I was active on the other boards, but it never made any sense ... responses in the thread addressed posts I couldn't see, and if I remember right, I could see their posts anyway if someone quoted them.
