What party are you a registered member of?

Virginia does not allow voters to register by political party, but if the option were available to me now, I would register as a Democrat.  

I say now, because when I first registered to vote, I considered myself a Republican (albeit of the moderate variety) at the time.

Illinois doesn't require you to register with an affiliation, but I believe that when you vote in the primary they temporarily register you with that party.

So I guess I'm a registered Republican. Oops.

Montana has no party registration, though for primary elections I use Democratic ballots.

Democratic and Republican organizers reach out to me sometimes because I've helped campaigns a little, but there are no active parties here I agree with on the issues more than perhaps half or so of the time.

So in the poll I chose "No Party Affiliation."
