Pumpkin is the best, of course, with key lime a close second.

Has anybody made a hair pie joke yet?  no?  Good.

If we're talking the best of each, apple.  A great apple pie is pretty hard to beat.  But a sh**tty apple pie is much worse than say, a sh**tty cherry pie.

Voted blueberry, but pumpkin custard, and derby pie are great. Props to rhubarb too.

Pizza pie, uhh duh

Pumpkin. Actually, does cheesecake count? I don't know if it's pie, but it certainly doesn't feel like cake either.

I'd go with apple overall.

It it were a particular pie, my grandma's pumpkin pie was the best pie ever (I think she called it pumpkin chiffon pie, and it had lots of whipped cream on top). She always made it for Thanksgiving. I'll definitely miss it.

pecan is a favorite in my damn yankee family.

I don't know whether to say pecan, pumpkin or apple. They're all so good.

The key to a good pie is the crust. The filling is easy. Crust needs to be fresh and flaky, which it almost never is from stores and restaurants. Stale pie crust makes the whole experience worthless.

And a side of vanilla ice cream. Tongue

For a generic pie, nothing beats pumpkin or apple of course, but pecan and chocolate pies taste really good, to.
