Hello friends, I hope all is well in Atlasia since my reign ended. I have been pretty swamped with bar studies, so I have not been very active, but I have been following my bicameral debate somewhat because I have a vested interest in it.

There seems to be a debate on the type of voting to use in the lower house, so my question to you all is, do you support party lists or do you wish to keep voting the individual as we do now. Just so you know, in a party list system, a party posts a list of candidates, and you vote for a party instead of a candidate. The proportion of the vote the party gets is applied to determine how many candidates are elected.

I have made my opinions clear on the matter - what are yours? Open your heart to me.

I don't mind a party list system, but it has to be open.

To be totally honest, I'd prefer a district system for a lower house, if we made the laws for moving states much stricter. Otherwise, I'd back either closed list or open list.

I'm concerned on how a party-list election system would affect independents. So no, I guess. But otherwise, I'd support an open list proposal ^^

Let's get some more participation if we can. So far, the results look pretty conclusive.

Picked "open list", but I'm not really sure.

Keep things they are. I'm not worried, mind, since any BIG GAME REFORM will never pass. In some cases that's a good thing - party list voting would pretty much kill what remains of Atlasia. The lower house idea in general is similarly presumably DOA.

Yeah. As much as game reform is currently a big ordeal in the senate, I can't help but think it will be all for naught.

I agree with Talleyrand, but I would prefer open list to close list.
