Very long but typically excellent Hamby piece profiling the Chamber's political efforts this cycle.

Meanwhile, the Chamber is about to lose in Georgia.

Ironically, Perdue supports the Wall Street Bailout, Common Core, and immigration reform, three official US Chamber positions, all of which Kingston opposed.  It baffles me why they endorsed Kingston.

Kingston supports Immigration reform while Perdue doesn't. The Immigration issue was one that Perdue used extensively to attack Kingston. Other than that, as a self-funder Perdue wouldn't owe any favors once/if he got elected, while Kingston would have been beholden to his donors. The COC, of course, wanted the guy who would need to pay them back somehow.

They at least got their way in GA-01 with Carter though.

Apparently Perdue pissed off the Chamber during his interview.

This link says Kingston disagrees with the chamber on immigration reform.
