Another thread here gave me a cool idea, which political party would you register with by state and also country (political parties in other countries), feel free to list what you want, and you can do just the general and then exceptions to keep things short ie "Republican in all 50 states" or something, no AL: GOP AR: GOP etc.

I'd be a registered Dem in every state except Oregon (Oregon Progressive Party), Puerto Rico (NPPPR, the statehooders) and Vermont (Vermont Progressive Party). In some cases (ie Florida) I might register with the Justice Party to help them maintain ballot status/help them achieve ballot status, varies by state law and such though.

Australia: Australian Greens
Canada: NDP
UK: Labour (Lib Dems used to be ok)
Germany: Pirate Party (Greens and Die Linke aren't that bad either nor is SPD)
Italy: M5 (Five Star Movement)
France: PS (Socialist Party)
Scotland: SNP
South Africa: DA (Democratic Alliance)
Sweden and some other EU countries: Pirate Party

I was copying and pasting this from an older list. In retrospect I'd probably switch my support to the Alliance Party.

Only including non-fringe parties I really like rather than "least bad" options. Non-fringe is defined as "has a hope in hell of winning a seat somewhere, someday"

Australia: Family First
Canada: Conservative
  • Alberta: Wildrose
  • Quebec: Stay Home
  • Everywhere Else: Progressive Conservative
Netherlands: Christian Union
New Zealand: Conservative
United Kingdom: UKIP
