Kinda interested in this, and part of me does want to see it broken up. Then again, it would probably be an absolute disaster. I'll go with don't know (D)

No (sane)

Maybe splitting California into 2/3 states would make sense, but 6 is way too much.

Yes, any state with more than 10 million people should be broken up, or given extra Senators.

No I don't want our state's voting power reduced.

No, I don't want a 51st state unless the Dakotas merge, and even then, DC has first dibs in my book.

Maybe some kind split would be OK, but the proposed 6-way partition is pretty awful.

This.  Though I wonder what the politics of each state would then be.

Of course. Some of those 55 electoral votes oughta go to the GOP. Tongue

Sounds neat, but it's probably not for the best. If we're splitting up Cali, then we should also think about splitting up Texas.

It should be split in 3 States IMO. SoCal / Coastal NorCal / Inland NorCal.

No.  Or at least not with the current proposal.

No, that proposal is terrible. As I've mentioned before, if the state is to be split, it should be separated at the straight line above Kern County (thus resulting in a much more reasonable NorCal and SoCal). I'm not even saying I'd support that, but it'd at least make sense.
