Obama should be impeached. He's piled on so much debt in such a short period that the destruction of our economy via bankruptcy and runaway inflation may be inevitable at this point. Worse yet, Barack Obama has taken the position that he can rewrite any law he chooses. He thinks, he is God.

Question would you have wanted to impeach George W Bush then?

This is as valid of an opinion as it was 8 years ago.

Can the GOP get through one Democratic President without an impeachment trial?

No, an 8-year-old's opinion would be of much more value than this.

Nah, God can't change the laws of the US. The whole separation of church and state thing you know. I'd rather say that he thinks he is the supreme court.

That's probably why Gore "lost". Why vote for someone if they are just going to get impeached?

1. Whenever I see the word should in a non-predictive context "The train should be here by now" I have a low expectation of the intellectual content of what follows.

Shakespeare rarely uses it. Cervantes, Goethe, and Dostoevsky never use words that translate to it.

2. Through his bungled war and his conscious decision to cut taxes for the super-rich,  Dubya fails badly, too.

3. Manifestly false about the President "rewriting" the laws.

Can the GOP get through one Democratic President without an impeachment trial?
That is an unfair statement. Keep in mind, only two Democrats have won reelection in fifty years...

And only three Republicans have. Democrats are 0 for 3 at impeachment trials of 2-term Republicans, and that includes Nixon.

Right, but I'm saying more so to this particular thread. We have a few threads about impeachment already. No need to respond to this thread created by a new poster who seems to be a baiting troll.

And, yes, I recognize that I am responding to it myself but the thread has been at the top both times.
