Yes, I supported Ron Paul Wink

Just kidding, I'll count when I was in 5th grade and I gave a kid $10 for some Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon cards that he never gave me.

No.

But, I actually had someone try the old baby formula scam on me yesterday.  It was actually kind of scary because he kind of chased me down and he had a teardrop tattoo on his face.  Thankfully, it didn't go from a scam to shooting me and taking my wallet.

I almost fell for a fake ID scam in NYC once. I really wanted a fake ID at the time. But the guy said he needed to go "scan the bills" i was going to pay him with and i was like "No" and walked away. He shouted "f****t" at me, but that's par for the course.

I've gotten the occasional phishing email, but I've never followed through on them. So no.

I guess so. My mom and I ordered some books by Kevin Trudeau off of a TV infomercial thinking that they would contain useful home health advice, but he's basically a con artist who pitches conspiracy theories, and his books only redirected you to his website, which required an extra subscription fee. That was the first and last time I ever fell for an infomercial.

Yeah, I think my mom only lost twenty dollars to help put this so called "law student" through school. We got an email from a Nigerian prince once as well, but my mom just laughed and deleted it.

Any time I've bought something that wasn't as great as advertised, it could be seen as falling for a scam, I suppose.

One time I was contacted by "Publishers" to follow up on a contest entry, which initially seemed legitimate (or as legitimate as it could be), since I'd filled something out for Publisher's Clearing House a week earlier. We only got as far as them asking for my credit card, though. I would say filling out anything for Publisher's Clearing House counts as falling for a scam. That was a more-desperate time as far as money goes.

I bought $1,000 worth of Cutco knives. Honestly, though, they are amazing knives. If you cook a lot, good knives are worth the investment.

When I was a kid, I was tired of being scrawny, so I ordered the Charles Atlas ridiculousness from the back of a comic book. Needless to say, I continued to look like a concentration camp survivor until I got a personal trainer as an adult.

When I was in Japan this guy at a festival tried to and almost succeeded in selling me half a kilogram of dried blueberries for sixty-five hundred yen.

Closest thing to a scam was one time when I was playing Yugioh for money in a McDonald's, a guy offered me the rest of his McNuggets, which I gratefully consumed, not realizing that we had swiped my deck from right under my McNugget-infatuated nose. That sucked, but it wasn't as bad as having cards stolen from me after being beaten on the sidewalk, which has also happened to me. You'd be surprised what grown men will do for children's trading cards.

haha, but it was great being able to drink five nights a week in college while all those engineering students worked their asses off. I may make like 1/3rd of what they make nowadays, but no regrets man.

It all depends on what you do with it. I have BAs in Political Science and History and do alright. The concepts and applications I learned have served me whereas the actual subject matter probably hasn't.
