Good morning, folks.  I've got a big headache this morning and it's still raining outside.  I've got a couple places I could check out today, but if think I may relegate my search to the Internet.

Right now, my head hurts too bad to take a nap.  I doubt I'll watch much baseball today. Instead, I'm watching coverage of the NFL Training Camps on NFL Network.

I'd like to suggest I Know What You Did Last Somer. Also, how can a headache be so bad as to preclude a nap, but tv is ok? I know when I have a headache, staring at a screen is extremely unappealing.

I thought about sulking today, but I've decided against it.  I can't afford to lose an entire day to a headache.  I've taken medicine for it, and indeed it has come down slightly in the past hour, so now I'm going to go to a couple staffing agencies in midtown Tulsa and put in applications.  I may stop somewhere and grab a bite to eat first to see if food might help my headache some.  The jobs I'm going to put in for are a dispatcher and a receptionist.

I can do both at the same time, except when I'm out looking for jobs.

Watching the NFL on MLB trading deadline day? You've sunk to a new low.

I'm home from my errands this afternoon.  I accomplished what I set out to do today which was to put my application in at two staffing agencies in Midtown.  I wasn't expecting to accomplish any more than that.  Now, I'm home and will continue the job search until 17:00 when I'll call it quits.  Since I took that Excedrin about 10:30, my headache has dropped from a Grade 8 down to a Grade 5.  It still hurts, but it certainly feels better than it did just a few short hours ago.

When I hear Midtown, Tulsa certainly doesn't come to mind....

You need to get on the dole at least for a while and work on fixing your multitude of health issues.

Granted, Tulsa is a lot smaller than other cities you think of (we only have 400,000 in the city proper, a definite mid-size metropolitan area), but that's what the locals call the middle part of Tulsa.  There is West Tulsa, North Tulsa, South Tulsa, East Tulsa, and Midtown, and of course all the suburbs.  We are small enough geographically that you can drive from the east suburb of Broken Arrow to the west suburbs of Sand Springs and Sapulpa in about 20 minutes.

It's not surprising. I have a conservative friend from TX who lives here now that was complaining to me about how her paycheck was hard to budget. I told her to get food stamps, she said no and instead blamed how high her taxes are... which started a whole other conversation.

I guess she's more of an acquaintance than friend.

Can we get the grading scale for these headaches?  What specifically causes a downgrade or upgrade from one category to another?
