Good Saturday Morning!  I slept well, although I still have the headache from last Friday's dessert.  I'm about to go get the oil changed in my car and then come back home.  I'll have dinner with the family at 1630 and head home to Tulsa about 1730 or 1800.

Is this teaching you nothing?

It's teaching more than you think...

Why can't you stop eating like that? You've been having a headache for a week because you couldn't not eat ice cream? You need to stop this.

It wasn't the ice cream.  It was the chocolate.  The ice cream was cookies and cream.

Then don't eat the chocolate! Your body cannot handle it.

You usually eat at 1630 or 1700. What do you eat between then and 2230 or 2330 when you go to bed?  I'm betting that's worse than what you eat for your meals.

I'm home from getting the oil changed in my car.  I was going to go to the Lowe's in Midwest City to check out their Christmas supplies, but I decided against it.  I'll go by a Lowe's in Southeast Tulsa after work on Tuesday.  Speaking of work, I am seriously considering working until 1700 Monday through Thursday this week.  I have to get routine blood work done on Friday morning, but I'll go back to work after I get back into town.  I'll miss 3 to 3 1/2 hours Friday morning, but I will only need to put in 4 additional hours when I get to work and should still get off by 1430 or 1500.

I usually don't have anything except a Diet Dr Pepper or two.  Eating between 1630 and 1800 keeps me full or full enough until bed time.  Plus, I have a strict policy of not eating anything after 2000.  The most I might have in the evenings is a graham cracker, but that's it and rare and just one.

Bushie, I think you might want to get a CAT scan. It's not normal to have headaches as frequently as you do.

Headaches really are genetic.  When your mother has had migraines since 1978 as has most of her side of the family, it's no wonder where I get the majority of my headaches.

Yes, but when you can't abstain from chocolate and other things you know causes them, you're doing yourself no favors.

There is nothing wrong with inducing a massive headache every now and then.

Chocolate normally doesn't give me a week long headache.  They're usually well controlled by medication and only last a day.  Still, I should refrain more often, but sometimes I just have to have a sweet treat.

1. A day long headache is still awful and not normal

2. Things other than chocolate are sweet, like strawberries or vanilla or antifreeze

Strawberries and vanilla sound alright, but I think I'll pass on the antifreeze!

Look at it this way, your grade 9 headache would be the least of your worries then, at least.

Bushie, if you want something sweet, can you at least try a mango like I've been badgering you to do for a while now?

He should buy frozen mango chunks and put those in water. They make the water sweet and refreshingly cold, so he can avoid that disgusting water taste, while also getting some nutrients.
